Afrimart Launches Multi-Industry Industrial Solutions Platform Across Africa

Afrimart Online (Pty) Ltd has launched a new Industrial Solutions Platform designed to streamline equipment sourcing and project development across multiple sectors of Africa’s economy, the company said.

The platform introduces a centralized, request-for-quotation (RFQ) model that connects businesses with verified global manufacturers and engineering partners, offering integrated, end-to-end solutions across eight key industries.

These include mining and mineral processing, construction and infrastructure, agriculture and agro-processing, manufacturing and production lines, energy and power systems, material handling and logistics, water treatment and environmental solutions, and medical and healthcare equipment.

Africa is undergoing rapid industrialization, supported by infrastructure expansion, growing energy demand, and increased investment in mining and manufacturing. However, many businesses continue to face challenges including fragmented procurement, high equipment costs, long lead times, and limited access to integrated technical solutions.

Afrimart said its new platform is designed to address these constraints by enabling companies to source complete systems — rather than individual products — tailored to their operational requirements.

“Our focus is to simplify industrial project execution across Africa by giving businesses access to complete, engineered solutions through a single RFQ platform,” the company said in a statement.

The system allows users to submit detailed project requirements, including industry type, specifications, capacity, and location, and receive customized equipment configurations, pricing, and technical proposals.

The platform covers a broad range of applications, including crushing and mineral processing plants, construction equipment and batching systems, agricultural processing solutions, manufacturing lines, renewable and hybrid energy systems, logistics and material handling infrastructure, water treatment facilities, and healthcare equipment installations.

Afrimart works with vetted international suppliers, particularly from China, alongside regional partners, to deliver cost-competitive solutions.

The company also provides logistics coordination, import support, installation supervision, and commissioning services across South Africa and selected African markets.

Afrimart’s platform is positioned to support both large-scale industrial projects and small-to-medium enterprises seeking to scale operations, particularly in key markets such as South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.

The company said the RFQ-driven model enables faster decision-making and greater transparency in sourcing, compared with traditional procurement channels.
