The Zybio Z3 (MSLEA933) is a Class II, 3-part differential hematology analyzer designed for clinical labs and clinics. It provides automated complete blood count (CBC) testing with advanced data management, a user-friendly touch screen, and built-in maintenance/QC functions.
It performs a 3-part WBC differential and reports standard CBC parameters including WBC, RBC, HGB (colorimetric), HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLT and related indices.
Typical throughput is around 40 samples per hour for routine operation, and the instrument can reach up to 60 samples per hour under certain modes or workflows.
The analyzer accepts whole blood and prediluted samples. Required sample volumes are approximately 20 μL for prediluted mode and 9–10 μL for whole blood mode.
The unit includes the specialized reagents listed for this model: M-30D DILUENT, M-30CFL LYSE, and PROBE CL.EANSER (probe cleanser).
It uses the Coulter principle (electrical impedance) for cell counting and size discrimination, and colorimetric determination for hemoglobin measurement.
The analyzer features a large 8.4-inch TFT color touch-screen (menu includes Review, Test, Maintenance, QC, Setup, Shutdown, Prime reagents, System diagnosis, Aperture rinse, Soak and Rinse, Calibration and instrument config).
It can store up to 200,000 test results locally and supports data export and connectivity via LAN, 4 USB ports, and RS232. A keyboard and mouse can also be connected.
Dimensions are approximately 410 mm (depth) x 300 mm (width) x 400 mm (height). The unit weighs ≤20 kg and operates on 100–240 V AC.
Recommended operating temperature is 10–35 °C with relative humidity up to 90% (operational range listed as 10%–90% humidity in product specs).
Aperture diameters: WBC 80 μm, RBC/PLT 70 μm. Carryover rates are WBC ≤1.5%, RBC/HGB <1.0%, and PLT ≤2%.
The instrument provides automated maintenance routines including aperture rinse, soak and rinse cycles, reagent priming, system diagnosis, calibration and QC menus. Use the provided PROBE CL.EANSER and follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
Yes. With its compact footprint, portability (≤20 kg) and throughput (40–60 samples/hour), it is well suited for small to medium-sized clinical laboratories, outpatient clinics and hospital departments with moderate to high sample volumes.
The analyzer supports on-board calibration and QC routines via the menu. Frequency of calibration/QC depends on local laboratory policies, workload and regulatory requirements—follow the manufacturer's instructions and your lab's quality management plan.
