The DK7720 is part of the DK77 series CNC EDM wire cutting machines produced by Taizhou Ruite Machinery. It is a high-precision CNC wire EDM designed for industrial cutting with V-shaped guide rails (linear guide optional) and P3-grade high-precision ball screws.
Standard positioning precision is ≤0.02 mm (measured to GB7926-2005). With linear guide rails the precision can reach 0.01 mm. Surface roughness can be as good as Ra2.5 μm in single-cut and Ra1.5 μm in multi-cut operations.
The standard maximum cutting taper is ±6° per 80 mm. Optional taper ranges include ±15°, ±30° and ±45°. The company also supplies ±30° and ±45° large-swing taper machines.
The DK77 series typically uses molybdenum wire with diameters between 0.1–0.2 mm. Maximum cutting speed is ≥120 mm²/min (actual speed depends on material, thickness and cutting parameters).
Standard supply is 3-phase 380 V and the machine power is 1.5 kW. Other supply options such as single-phase 220 V, 3-phase 220 V or custom voltages can be provided on request.
The DK77 series uses water-based emulsion as the working/cutting fluid.
For the DK7720 model the worktable travel is 200 × 250 mm, worktable size is 490 × 380 mm, maximum cutting thickness is 200 mm and maximum table load is 100 kg. Machine dimensions are approximately 1200 × 900 × 1300 mm and weight about 800 kg.
The DK77 series includes many models and non-standard/custom models such as DK7740(45)F, DK7750(55)F, DK7763F, DK7780F, DK77100F, DK77120F and larger machines, with worktable travels ranging from ~200 mm up to 1600 mm and corresponding larger capacities and sizes.
Yes — Taizhou Ruite offers customization for non-standard models, different electrical supplies, guide rail options (V-shaped or linear), different taper capabilities, and larger machine sizes to meet customer requirements.
Yes. The company also produces CNC high-precision middle-speed EDM wire cutting machines capable of precision ≤±0.005 mm and surface roughness ≤1.0 μm for applications requiring greater accuracy.
Typical consumables include molybdenum wire (0.1–0.2 mm), water-based emulsion, filters and possibly dielectric system components. Replacement parts and service items can be supplied by the manufacturer or authorized distributors.
Regular maintenance includes keeping the work tank and filters clean, monitoring and replenishing water-based emulsion, inspecting and replacing wire guides and wires, checking ball-screw and guide lubrication, and performing routine machine-level alignment and electrical checks per the operator manual.
Wire EDM is suitable for electrically conductive materials such as hardened steels, tool steels, stainless steels, titanium, copper, and some exotic alloys. Actual performance depends on material thickness, conductivity and cutting parameters.
