High hardness /silicon /heavy metal industrial wastewater makes nanofiltration,reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, and evaporators face the risk of fouling.The traditional softening process currently on the market is: dosing PAC,PAM,NaOH,Na2CO3, NaAlO2, and other agents. Then it is treated by sedimentation tank,sand filter and hollow fiber membrane. In contrast, the new treatment process based on PEK tubular membrane only dosing NaOH and Na2CO3, without PAC or PAM,product water hardness ≤ 50mg/L, total silicon ≤ 20 mg/L.
