The machine is a 1000-liter capacity mixer designed to process batches up to that nominal volume. Actual batch volume will depend on material bulk density and the recommended fill ratio.

2. Is this machine suitable for mixing protein powders and other food powders?

Yes. The mixer can handle protein powders and similar dry blends. For food or pharmaceutical use, choose food-grade construction (stainless steel 304 or preferably 316L) and sanitary options to meet hygiene requirements.

The unit uses a double-paddle mixing design which provides high mixing homogeneity, short mixing times and improved mixing efficiency compared with single-paddle or simple ribbon designs.

5. How is product discharged from the mixer?

Discharge is performed via a pneumatic valve. Optional sanitary flap valves or bomb-bay doors are also available for specific processing requirements.

There are conventional packing seals (with optional gas seal) and mechanical seals. Packing seals are lower cost; mechanical seals provide superior sealing, reduced leakage, longer life and are recommended when higher sealability or liquid handling is required.

Yes. The mixer cover includes a safety net so operators cannot reach into the mixing chamber. Additional guards, interlocks and operator stations can be provided as required.

8. Can the machine be equipped for liquid addition or wetting of powders?

Yes. Spray nozzles for liquid introduction and a high-speed chopper for dispersion/wetting are available as options to support liquid addition and agglomeration processes.

9. Is the mixer suitable for explosive or dusty powders?

Explosion-proof motors and controls are available as an option for hazardous environments. For dusty powders, dust collection and containment measures should be integrated—please specify ATEX/NEC requirements at enquiry.

10. Can I control mixing speed and other process parameters?

Controls such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters and operator stations are available to adjust speed, start/stop and integrate into control systems.

11. What is the typical mixing time for a batch?

Mixing time depends on powder properties, fill level and recipe. The double-paddle design minimizes time compared with many alternatives, but exact times vary—typical blends often achieve homogeneity within minutes. We recommend trials for accurate timing.

12. How easy is the machine to clean and maintain?

Sanitary construction options, smooth internal surfaces and accessible discharge valves make cleaning straightforward. Mechanical seals reduce leakage and maintenance frequency. Routine tasks include inspection of seals, pneumatic components and drive elements. CIP configurations can be supplied where required.

13. Can the machine be customized for my specific product and plant layout?

Yes. Options include material of construction, sanitary valves, discharge types, horsepower sizing for higher-density materials, explosion-proof motors, spray systems, choppers and control packages. We can tailor the unit to your product and installation constraints.
