The processing of alluvial gold primarily relies on gravity separation techniques to recover gold and other heavy minerals from raw ore. After initial recovery, advanced processes like flotation, amalgamation, magnetic separation, and electric separation are used to achieve comprehensive recovery of gold and associated minerals.

Alluvial Gold Washing Plant Without Sticky Clay

Ore Type: Alluvial gold without sticky clay

Processing Steps:

1. Trommel Screen: Wash raw ore to remove clay and separate gravel/stones without gold. Waste material is transferred away by belt conveyor.
2. Jig Machine: Captures large gold particles (2–20mm) or nuggets. The sluice box provides additional recovery of gold particles.
3. Shaking Table: Processes concentrates from the jig machine to separate sand and improve gold recovery.

This washing plant is ideal for alluvial gold ores without sticky clay. For ores with significant sticky clay, a trommel scrubber is recommended. Capacity can be customized to suit requirements (e.g., 10 TPH, 50 TPH, 100 TPH, etc.).

Placer Gold Processing with Sticky Clay

Ore Type: Placer gold with sticky clay

Processing Steps:

1. Hopper & Vibrating Feeder: Feed raw ore into the trommel scrubber.
2. Trommel Scrubber: Wash clay from ore and screen particles by size.
3. Overscreen Material: Waste sand transported away by belt conveyor.
4. Centrifugal Concentrator: Processes underscreen material to recover fine gold (0–5mm).
5. Sluice Box: Captures remaining gold from concentrator tailings.
6. Shaking Table: Further concentrates gold to enhance purity.

This flowchart is suited for alluvial ores with sticky clay. For gold particle sizes over 5mm, an additional sluice box can recover nuggets.
