The RIMA 2024 is a portable sawmill engineered for efficient wood cutting for farm and home use. It features a robust frame, TÜV CE certification, and is offered in gasoline and electric power variants with optional trailers and accessories.
Gasoline models: RS26G (9 HP LIFAN, manual start) and RS31G (15 HP LIFAN, manual start). Electric models: RS26E (5.5 kW, 400V 50Hz 3-phase) and RS31E (7.5 kW, 400V 50Hz 3-phase). Trailer models: RST4 and RST6.
Cutting capacity: 660 × 178 × 2794 mm (26" × 7" × 110") for RS26 models and 790 × 178 × 2794 mm (31" × 7" × 110") for RS31 models. Blade size: 3670 × 34 × 0.9 mm (144" × 1-1/4" × 0.035").
Blade speed is approximately 17 m/min. Recommended safe cutting speed is about 13–15 seconds per meter under normal operating conditions.
Machine dimensions: 4064 × 1778 × 1800 mm. Gasoline model weight: ~312/344 kg (depends on configuration). Electric model weight: ~352/380 kg. Packing: P1 1800 × 550 × 810 mm and P2 2000 × 140 × 95 mm. Container loading: varies by model (for example gasoline models list 39 pcs in a 20' or 78 pcs in a 40' HC—confirm with supplier).
Yes. The RIMA 2024 is TÜV CE certified, meeting relevant European safety and quality standards.
The machine comes with a one-year warranty covering the product and its core components. For warranty terms, spare parts and service procedures, contact your RIMA dealer or the showroom where you purchased the machine.
Each unit is accompanied by a machinery test report and a video of the outgoing inspection so customers can verify performance and condition before shipment.
Trailer models RST4 and RST6 share galvanized finishes, 50 × 50 mm axles, LED light kits, 2" (50 mm) ball couplers, log loading ramps (max 1350 kg), 3000 lb winches, leveling jacks (4 for RST4, 6 for RST6) and a loading capacity of 1500 kg.
Gasoline models offer on-site portability and independent operation where grid power is unavailable. Electric models provide quieter operation, lower local emissions and may have lower operating maintenance if suitable three-phase power is available. Cutting performance and blade specifications are otherwise equivalent for the same frame size.
Regularly inspect and tension the band blade, keep blade teeth sharp and replace when worn, lubricate moving parts and guide assemblies, check engine or motor fluids/filters (gasoline), and follow the maintenance schedule in the operator manual. Use replacement blades sized 3670 × 34 × 0.9 mm.
Depending on model: up to 660 mm (26") diameter/width and 2794 mm (110") length for RS26 models; up to 790 mm (31") diameter/width and 2794 mm (110") length for RS31 models.
Operate only with appropriate guards in place. Wear PPE (eye protection, hearing protection, gloves and safety footwear), follow the operator manual, keep bystanders clear, and ensure operators are trained. TÜV CE certification indicates conformity to applicable safety standards, but safe operation practices remain essential.
Contact your local RIMA showroom or authorized dealer (showrooms in Canada, the UK, the US, France, Germany and Japan) for spare parts, blades and service. Provide model number and serial number from the machine for fast identification.
RIMA machines are available globally. Shipping lead times depend on model, current stock, and destination. Machines are packed in two packages (P1 and P2) and container loading quantities vary by model. Contact your regional showroom or sales representative for current lead times, freight options and pricing.
