1. What is this product and where is it used?
This is a double-arm medical surgery pendant designed for operating rooms, ICUs and hospital wards to provide power, medical gas and equipment support from the ceiling.
2. How is the pendant mounted?
It is ceiling-mounted. Mounting can be customized to customer requirements and combinations of two types of ceiling rotary pendants are possible.
3. Can the arms rotate and what is the rotation range?
Yes. The arms can rotate; arm rotation angle is up to 350°. Level/horizontal rotation of the terminal box is up to 340°.
4. Can the pendant move vertically (lift up/down)?
No. The pendant allows horizontal rotation of the arms but does not provide vertical lift.
5. What are the standard arm lengths and can they be customized?
Standard rotary arm lengths range from 750 mm to 1200 mm and can be customized to customer needs.
6. What is the load capacity of the pendant and shelves?
Net loading capacity is at least 180 kg. Each equipment shelf has a loading capacity of at least 60 kg; the pendant includes 2 equipment shelves by default.
7. What medical gas outlets and electrical/network sockets are provided?
Standard configuration includes O2 x1, Air x1, Vac x1; six power sockets (220 V, 10 A) and one network socket are provided.
8. What braking system does the pendant use?
Standard configuration uses a damping friction brake to prevent drifting and allow easy stopping. A pneumatic brake option is available on request.
9. What accessories are included?
Typical package includes 1 extension arm, 1 stainless-steel wire basket, and 1 drawer. Additional accessories can be added per customer request.
10. What materials are used and how should the pendant be cleaned?
Components that contact the environment use hospital-grade materials such as stainless steel. Clean with hospital-approved disinfectants; avoid highly corrosive chemicals and follow your facility's infection-control protocols.
11. Can the pendant dimensions and configurations be customized?
Yes. Pendant dimensions, arm lengths, shelf layout, number/type of gas outlets and sockets can be customized to meet specific workspace and clinical requirements.
12. What installation and site requirements should be considered?
Installation must be performed by qualified technicians. Ceiling structure must support the specified loads and allow for medical gas, electrical and network connections per local codes and hospital standards.
13. What maintenance and inspection are recommended?
Perform regular visual inspections, check brake function and rotation smoothness, verify gas and electrical connections, and follow manufacturer-recommended preventative maintenance schedules. Keep records of service and inspections.
