1. What finished products can this production line make?

The line is designed to produce 2D and 3D fryums/snack pellets, panipuri/golgappa shells, papad-type products and various slanty or shaped pellets using interchangeable moulds.

2. What is the typical production capacity?

Capacity depends on product type and settings. Typical figures: extruder/cutter around 300 kg/h; dryer/conveyor throughput 400–500 kg/h. Screw conveyor is rated at 1000 kg/h and mixer handles 50 kg per 3–5 minutes batch.

3. What are the main materials in contact with food?

All food-contact parts are stainless steel (SS). The extruder screw is 38CrMoAl alloy. Frames and some structural parts use carbon steel with stainless guards where needed.

4. What are the electrical and power requirements?

Key motor/heating ratings: extruder heating 16 kW; dryer heating 84 kW; main extruder motor 4 kW; mixers and fans listed in specs. The system can be customized for 220 V three-phase 60 Hz or other local voltage/frequency on request.

5. Can moulds and shapes be customized?

Yes. The mould unit is supplied as sets and can be customized — typically one shape per set. Custom mould design is available to produce different 2D/3D shapes and sizes.

6. What does the cutter/extruder system include and what is its capacity?

The cutter/extruder (SSE100) includes a long screw (2,580 mm), 5 heating zones, oil forced lubrication, bevel gears, and frequency converters. The cutter/extruder capacity is approximately 300 kg/h depending on product and settings.

7. How does the dryer section work and what are its specs?

The dryer is a multi-layer (7 layers) tunnel approx. 8 m long. It uses circulation fans and electric heaters (total heating power 84 kW) with dehumidification fans to dry pellets uniformly at set airflows and temperatures.

8. Is the packing and conveyor system suitable for long runs?

Yes. The system includes a packing machine with beam roller support to maintain belt tracking and prevent slippage, and an adjustable-speed mesh belt conveyor (chain transmission) constructed in stainless steel for continuous operation.

9. What cooling is provided after drying and how customizable is it?

A cooling section with dedicated motors (main motor 0.37 kW, cooling motor 0.72 kW) and multiple fans cools products after drying. The number of fans and layout can be adjusted to meet required cooling capacity.

10. How is lubrication and maintenance handled for the extruder?

The extruder uses a forced lubrication system with an oil box for bearings and gears. Routine maintenance includes scheduled lubrication checks, screw and barrel inspections, cutter blade sharpening/replacement, and belt inspections.

11. What cleaning and hygiene procedures are recommended?

Shut down and isolate power before cleaning. Use food-grade cleaning agents compatible with stainless steel. Removable parts (moulds, cutting plates, conveyor sections) should be cleaned regularly to prevent buildup. Follow local food safety and HACCP guidelines.

12. Are spare parts and technical support available?

Spare parts for wear items (screws, cutter plates, belts, heating elements, fans) and technical support are typically available. Contact the supplier for spare parts lists, lead times and recommended spare holdings.

13. What safety features are included?

The line includes stainless steel guards, emergency stop switches, and protected drive components. Frequency converters control motor start/stop and protection; additional safety devices can be added per local regulations.

14. How much floor space and utilities are required for installation?

Exact footprint depends on configuration and number of modules. Example screw conveyor footprint: 1700 × 900 × 1700 mm. You will need three-phase power sized to heaters and motors (contact supplier for full power summary), compressed air if used for pneumatics, and appropriate ventilation for dryer exhaust.

15. What customization options and lead times are available?
