It is a small, portable gold wash plant centered on a trommel (rotating drum) designed for small-scale/alluvial gold mining. It can be configured with sluice boxes, centrifugal concentrators, shaker tables, sand washers and other auxiliary equipment for washing, screening and gravity concentration.
Typical components include a trommel (drum screen), sluice box, gold centrifugal concentrator (Knelson-type or batch), 6-S shaking table, sand/scrubber washer, vibrating feeder, vibrating screen, water pumps and piping, feeding hopper and a mobile chassis for transport.
Capacity is customizable. The clay scrubbing system can be scaled and in large configurations reach about 200–250 tons per hour; smaller portable setups will have lower throughput depending on chosen components and feed characteristics.
The trommel/scrubber can accept material up to approximately 230 mm maximum particle size.
The trommel rotation is driven by an electric motor (or diesel engine option) through a reducer. Rotation speed can be adjusted by the advanced reducer to optimize residence time and washing intensity.
Yes. The trommel/drum screening system and other units can be driven by diesel engines or electric motors depending on site power availability and customer preference.
The sluice box is highly customizable — length, width, top covers (to reduce theft), metal mesh and carpet materials can be specified to match local conditions and gold sizes.
The plant can be equipped with fully-continuous Knelson Continuous Variable-Discharge (CVD) type concentrators or semi-continuous batch-type centrifugal concentrators, depending on operational preference and budget.
The 6-S shaker (shaking table) performs gravity separation of fine-grained materials and is effective for recovering precious and rare metals such as gold, silver, tin, tungsten and other dense minerals.
The scrubber uses strong mechanical scrubbing and water flushing to break down clay and agglomerates so gold-bearing particles are liberated. It features a long drum for longer retention and vigorous washing to improve separation efficiency.
A water pump and piping are part of the system; exact water volume depends on the configuration and feed material. Adequate clean water and a suitable pump capacity are required to supply the trommel, scrubber and sluices for optimal performance.
The plant is designed to be moveable and modular. Portability depends on the chosen modules; smaller units can be transported on trucks or trailers. Larger setups may require disassembly for transport. Site access and local road conditions should be considered.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the drum, sluices and carpets, checking and replacing worn liners/meshes/carpet, lubricating bearings and reducers, inspecting pumps and drive systems, and ensuring electrical/diesel systems are serviced per manufacturer recommendations.
Operators should receive training on startup/shutdown procedures, lockout/tagout, safe handling of rotating equipment, correct use of PPE, grounding and electrical safety, fuel handling for diesel units, and emergency response procedures.
Suppliers typically offer spare parts, technical support and optional commissioning or on-site installation assistance. Specific services, lead times and warranties vary by supplier and should be confirmed when requesting a quote.
